Calverley Service Experts Raise Money for Families of Dallas Officers Killed in Shooting

In early July, a peaceful Black Lives Matter-organized protest was coming to an end when shots rang out in Dallas. Mayhem ensued and by the end of the night, nine Dallas police officers were hurt and five lost their lives.

Within a few days, Dallas business owners and community leaders joined forces to raise funds for the police officers and their relatives. Dos Jefes, a local bistro, hosted “Dine for Dallas Blue” and all of the funds raised by the dinner and silent auction they put on were given to the fallen and injured officers and their relatives.

General Manager Tony Polendo of Calvlery Service Experts was more than honored to help.

“I was celebrating my birthday dinner a few blocks away from the events of that horrible evening,” Polendo said. “That night struck home with me. As a military veteran, I have complete and total respect for any individual who wears a uniform in an endeavor to protect and serve the community.”

“When my associate reached out to inquire if we would support this charity event by merely attending, I wanted to go beyond and not only attend, but give our time and effort as well.”

Tony and the Calverley Service Experts team coordinated with Lennox to auction off a new HVAC system with installation included at the Dine for Dallas Blue event. Take a look at the pictures of the installation.
